This would be cool but I doubt it’ll happen unless the Pacifica is a HUGE success. But most minivan buyers don’t buy for style, they just want large steel cages to protect their precious cargo.

If Toyota can charge almost $50k for Sienna Limited, that population will gladly pay $60-70k for a Lexus-badged Alphard.

The Quest has nothing to do with this. It’s just Nissan’s beige competitor to the Sienna.
To go apples to apples, they’d have to bring the Elgrand.

If most minivan buyers don’t buy for style, why is every Sienna I see the sport model or the Limited model? How come every Odyssey is of the highest trim? This may not be what we connotate as style, but it’s certainly a way to one up each other in the school parking lot.

It’s definitely to one up each other, especially in wealthy suburban areas where if your car doesn’t have an extra long trim level name you’re seen as a plebeian
